Most North Atlanta business leaders we talk to are sitting on data they don’t have time to use. We fix that. Here’s what an introductory conversation with us actually looks like. And, it’s only 20 mins.
What happens in a 20 minute call?
Tell Us What’s Going On
You tell us what’s happening in your business — where the friction is, what decisions feel harder than they should, and where your team is spending time they shouldn’t have to. No prep needed. Just show up and talk.
We Ask Some Questions
We’ll ask questions to make sure we heard you correctly and understand the full picture. We’re not filling out a form or running a script — we’re listening for the thing underneath the thing, because that’s usually where the real opportunity is.
We Tell You What We See
Based on what you’ve shared, Brian will give you an honest read on whether and how data science could help. We’ve seen this across fourteen industries — we’ll know quickly if there’s something worth pursuing and we’ll tell you plainly either way.
You Leave With Something Useful
Most people walk away from that first conversation with at least one concrete idea they hadn’t considered — a different way to look at a problem, a process that could be simplified, or a question worth asking of your own data. If there’s a fit we’ll talk about next steps. If there isn’t, we’ll tell you that too. Either way the 20 minutes will be worth your time.

About The Data Science Group
The Data Science Group is a boutique fractional data science practice built for small businesses that need senior analytical capability without the cost of a full-time hire. We work on a predictable monthly budget, stay engaged as your business evolves, and get more valuable the longer we work together.
Brian Haughton founded The Data Science Group after thirty years solving hard problems at the intersection of data, technology, and business — first as a software engineer at FedEx and CNN, then as a consultant and program delivery leader working with some of the largest companies in the world across fourteen industries. He holds a master’s degree in mathematics. The Data Science Group exists because AI changed what’s possible for a small, focused practice — and because great data science shouldn’t be reserved for companies with enterprise budgets.
